Biography

Tayler Young, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Columbia University. During her time at Columbia, Tayler was the recipient of the Magaret Eliot Award, given to a nursing student who exemplified professionalism, leadership, and compassion. Prior to her nursing career, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Virginia.

Tayler is passionate about community healthcare and aspires to continue optimizing health outcomes for marginalized and underserved communities. She has spent her nursing career working as a nurse within the NYC shelter system as well as other federally qualified health centers in the area. Tayler also went on to complete a nurse practitioner fellowship at Community Healthcare Network in New York City. Her special interests include sexual & reproductive health, women’s health, and adolescent health.
