The Center for Trauma and Critical Care (CTCC) will be starting a new level 3 trauma center in Cedar Hill Hospital in Anacostia, Washington, DC in 2025. This will be the first trauma center ever to be located in this area of the City. Combined with the Level 2 trauma center at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, this facility will further enhance the regionalization of acute care surgery throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region.
