Biography

Chinormso Diribe, MD is a native of Houston, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she was a Global Health Track Program Scholar. Her commitment to addressing health disparities began during her undergraduate studies at Prairie View A&M University, where she graduated with honors in Biology. Dr. Diribe completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.

Dr. Diribe’s passion for global health has taken her to countries including South Africa and Uganda, where she provided clinical care in maternity wards and conducted community health programs addressing maternal health, HIV care, and public health education.

Currently, Dr. Diribe is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Developing Brain Institute at Children’s National Medical Center. With her strong interest in reproductive healthcare, Dr. Diribe’s studies within the Developing Brain Institute explores the important intersection between reproductive medicine and perinatal health.  

Dr. Diribe’s unwavering focus on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes drives her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. She is dedicated to addressing the needs of women in her community with compassion and understanding.  

In her spare time, Dr. Diribe enjoys organizing wellness events, traveling abroad, and working out.
