Despite ongoing claims confusion, complex regulatory hurdles and a lack of consumer confidence due to greenwashing, the popularity is especially increasing within skincare. 

Adam Friedman, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, comments on the uses of CBD on curing topical inflammation, use of nanotechnology and the future of cannabinoids in skincare.
