GW MFA Midwifery Services Winner in Washington Parent Picks 2020

Washington Parent magazine readers recently voted the George Washington University (GW) Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) Midwifery Services as the best in the Washington, D.C., metro area for the year 2020.

More than 20,000 votes were cast by parents and residents for the Washington Parent Picks 2020 contest, with GW MFA coming out on top in the midwife services category. Washington Parent magazine has been serving parents in the D.C. area since 1983 both in print and online.

The GW MFA Midwifery Services offers collaborative care between midwives and physicians to achieve the best outcomes for pregnant women and their babies. The service provides in-hospital, midwifery-managed prenatal care and deliveries.

Midwifery fellows are fully licensed and credentialed midwives and take an additional year of training to hone their clinical and collaboration skills.
