Samah Nassereddine, MD, joined as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the GWU Cancer Center.
Dr. Nassereddine was awarded her Medical Degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine, Beirut, Lebanon. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the American University Of Beirut Medical Center, Beirut. She then attained an additional three year Residency program in Internal Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC.
Dr. Nassereddine worked on a leukemia research project focused on myeloid malignancies at the GWU Cancer Center prior to beginning three year Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at The George Washington University Medical Center
Dr. Nassereddine is boarded in Internal Medicine, and board eligible for Medical Oncology and Hematology. She is licensed in the District of Columbia.
Her clinical and laboratory interests have focused on myeloid malignancies. She is also invested in novel therapeutics such as targeted treatments and cellular therapy aiming at improving outcomes for our patients.
Dr. Nassereddine is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and Society of Hematology and Oncology. She has presented at national and international conferences and is published in leading medical journals. Dr. Nassereddine is committed to her patients care and well-being.
