Jessica Barrett was born and raised in Potomac, MD. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland. Prior to PA school, she volunteered as an EMT/firefighter and worked as an emergency department technician and medical scribe. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Management at the Wake Forest School of Business prior to earning her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Wake Forest School of Medicine in May 2020. During PA school, she volunteered with Wake Forest’s student-run health clinic to provide care to underserved members of the Winston-Salem community.
Jessica joined OrthoBethesda in November 2020. She is nationally board-certified and licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, skating, and rock climbing.
