Biography
Daniel Scher is a fellowship trained interventional radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He received his interventional radiology training at Johns Hopkins at Johns Hopkins University. His primary interests lie in the minimally invasive treatment of cancer, most notably chemoembolization and Y90 radioembolization of primary hepatic tumors or metastatic cancer to the liver. Additionally, he has a strong interest in ablation therapy of the liver, lung, and kidney for primary or metastatic tumors.
Dr. Scher's goal is to successfully collaborate with oncologists and surgeons in the constantly changing world of cancer treatment.
