Biography

Surbhi Agrawal, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Her practice includes the medical and surgical treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

Dr. Agrawal completed medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at New York University Langone Health. She completed her fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

She became certified to use the DaVinci Robot surgically during her residency and completed a Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics certification during her fellowship, as well. She has participated in both lab bench and clinical research with many publications in the field of women’s healthcare. Her current research interests include patient-centered outcomes, clinical innovation, and quality improvement.
