Emily Nadelmann, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She specializes in complex medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, offering personalized, patient-centered care that optimizes skin health while supporting confidence and quality of life. Her clinical expertise includes inflammatory and autoimmune skin conditions, hair loss, cutaneous oncology including melanoma, women’s health in dermatology, and improving access to dermatologic care.
Dr. Nadelmann completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, graduating with General University Honors and Departmental Honors in Public Health. She earned her medical degree with Distinction in Research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award for academic excellence. Between her third and fourth year of medical school, she was selected nationally among medical students for the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Fellowship, spending a year at Harvard Medical School conducting translational research in computational genetics, an experience that continues to shape her investigative approach in dermatology. She completed her medical internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and dermatology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore in New York City, where she was selected as chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Nadelmann is published in leading peer-reviewed journals, has authored and edited dermatology textbook chapters, and has presented her work at numerous national and regional meetings. Dedicated to advancing dermatologic care, she enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, translating emerging therapies into practice, and improving equitable access to high-quality dermatologic care.
