Biography

Dr. Catherine “Lule” (pronounced Lu-Lu) Rault is an obstetrician-gynecologist at GW Medical Faculty Associates and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed medical school at Tulane University followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana and fellowship training in Complex Family Planning at the University of Hawaiʻi at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She provides comprehensive OB-GYN care with a focus on complex contraception and family planning. Her clinical and scholarly interests include patient-centered contraceptive counseling, office-based procedures, and improving pain control and patient experience during gynecologic care. She is committed to evidence-based, compassionate, and equitable reproductive health care.
