Biography

Ayal Pierce, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tufts University, graduating cum laude. He went on to receive his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2019. Dr. Pierce completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University Hospital in 2023, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

During residency, Dr. Pierce also held the role of Associate Medical Director of the GW Emergency Medical Response Group and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His academic and clinical interests include emergency medical services, medical education, and innovation at the intersection of technology and emergency care.
