Biography
Sonia P. Brown is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Sonia received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Hampton University. During her doctoral studies, Sonia was selected as a Jonas Scholar, a partnership between Jonas Philanthropies and nursing schools to support doctoral nursing scholars.
Sonia has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, spending 25 of those years working in cardiovascular care, predominantly interventional cardiology.
