Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, Dr. Dima Nimri obtained her medical degree from the University of Jordan. She then moved to Boston, MA where she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Nimri completed her internal medicine residency at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and later moved to New York City, where she completed her rheumatology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She is fluent in both Arabic and English. Her interests in rheumatology include lupus, vasculitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Outside of medicine, Dr. Nimri enjoys working out, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
