Biography

Dr. Chelsey Baldwin is a board-certified endocrinologist with clinical and research interest in thyroid disease. Dr. Baldwin attended Medical School at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at New York University. Dr. Baldwin also has Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasonography (ECNU).

Dr. Baldwin performs thyroid ultrasonography, fine needle aspiration, as well as offers radiofrequency ablation, a minimally invasive technique for the management of symptomatic or hormonally active thyroid nodules. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Baldwin is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and takes an active role in medical student education. She also has published on minimally-invasive techniques for the Management of Thyroid disease and serves as the Admissions Committee Chair for the North American Society for Interventional Thyroidology.
