Biography

Amanda-Gay Edwards received her Bachelor's of Science degree in biology from Howard University in 2011. She then worked as a research/lab technologist with a focus on degenerative neurological disorders in the neuroscience department of the Georgetown Medical Center. Amanda then returned to Howard University for a second Bachelor's degree in health science, and earned a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018, awarded the Chair of the Department award. She obtained her certification as a Physician Assistant shortly thereafter. Amanda’s professional interests include interventional, spine procedures, spinal cord, stimulator, technology, and spinal cord injury research.
