Biography
With more than 13 years of experience as an emergency room and trauma nurse, Aixa Garland, MSN, NP, brings extensive acute care expertise to her role as a Nurse Practitioner on the Surgery and Trauma team. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and is dedicated to advancing care for critically injured patients.
Her clinical interests include surgical critical care, orthopedic trauma, trauma surgery research, chest trauma, and the psychological effects of traumatic injuries. Aixa is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care and values collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
