COVID Vaccine Update
Based on the recently updated federal guidance, the GW MFA COVID-19 vaccine clinic is offering additional or booster doses of mRNA vaccine to all those eligible. If you are in one of the eligible groups, you may receive a booster during our regular vaccine clinic hours. If you have a CDC vaccination record card, please bring it with you to document receiving your additional vaccine dose.
All individuals ages 12+, are now eligible to get a COVID Vaccine at our vaccine clinic that is operated by The GW Medical Faculty Associates. There is no appointment required; walk-ups are welcome from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, however, if you would prefer to schedule an appointment ahead of time online please click here. For individuals under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present. We are pleased to be able to offer both DC and non-DC residents the opportunity to be vaccinated in DC.
Vaccination Location & Eligibility Information
Eligibility Information: All individuals 12+ (both DC and non-DC residents) are now welcome to walk-up to our vaccination clinic.
- Ages 12 or Older: Pfizer
- Boosters are available for those who qualify
Please bring your ID and insurance card to your appointment. Your insurance will pay a small administration fee that we are required by law to bill, but you will not have a copay, costs share, or deductible charge resulting from this.

The GW Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) and the GW Hospital – as well as health systems across the country – are working to get as many patients vaccinated as quickly as possible to support the wellness of our community. We encourage individuals to take advantage of all vaccine options available in their state and local areas (see below).
We know that many people are eager to be vaccinated, and we are working to provide vaccinations as quickly as possible. To ensure that our department phone lines remain open to all patients’ care needs, please do not call your provider’s office to inquire about your vaccination status.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work through this process! We have many valued patients outside of the District. We encourage our patients who live outside the District to also access COVID-19 vaccine information from the health department in the state, city, or county where they reside.
